I understand and agree that CV could have never gotten an $8mil/year deal by the Bucks. I applaud them for staying away from that kind of long term situation again. Especially considering his overall performance in a Bucks uniform. However, to shy away from offering CV even $4.5 million and going after Childress for 5/$30 would reach near insanity. Furthermore, the notion that we did his agent a favor by not signing him to a qualifying offer in hopes of his agent remembering that when Moute's contract comes up is absurd. I may just be a fan, but I'm pretty sure the NBA does not work on a favor system.
