In honor of Badger Michael Finley getting his first championship ring with the San Antonio Spurs, I’m going to go ahead and proclaim June 24th, 2007 “Wisconsin Loves Michael Finley” day. The 24th was chosen because of the number he wore as a Badger.
It’s also worth nothing that the picture shown below just about sums up the Bucks and Finley’s season. He got the ring he’s always wanted, and the Bucks got posterized by a lot of teams.
If Devin Harris ever wins the title, it’s going to be tough to give him a day, wearing #34.

It strikes me as a bit of irony that upon a closer look, Michael Finley actually appears in the logo for The Bratwurst.
